Crossover Basketball and Scholars Academy Presents a Co-Ed 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

On April 20, 2013 Crossover Basketball and Scholars Academy hosted the first Hoops Creating Hope Co-Ed 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at The George Washington University's Smith Center (Washington, DC). The purpose of the tournament was to raise awareness as well as funding for our 2013 Hoops Creating Hope program, which benefits school-aged children in Chennai, India.

Twelve teams participated in a double elimination tournament with first and second place taking home prizes that were donated by local businesses. Prizes included merchandise from the Washington Wizards, gift cards from Rustico, P.F. Chang's, and Booeymonger as well as a couple month long memberships to Sport & Health. The event helped raised $2,000 that will go directly toward the 2013 Hoops Creating Hope program.
